Why use Guildford Rubbish Clearance?
You don't have all the hard work of loading a skip. We do all the hard work for you.
No need to spend money on getting a road skip license. Our truck is a skip on wheels we don't need a license to park anywhere.
Our rates are based on the percentage of the vehicle filled and you only pay for the space used.
Our truck is nearly twice of size of a 6 yard builders skip.
No having to waste 2 days at home waiting for the skip to be delivered and collected. We will turn up within a 2 hour time slot as agreed with you on the phone and we won't leave until the job is done.

What is a cubic yard?
A cubic yard is three foot heigh and wide, then three foot deep (27 cubic feet). We use cubic yards to give an estimate on our price quotations. If you do not understand please let us know and we'll explain in a clearer sense.

We can not remove certain Hazardous Materials, including paint or paint cans full of paint, noxious chemicals, solvents, motor oils, petrol cans, asbestos, vehicle batteries, raw meat and fish, medical or biological waste (including faeces), or any toxic substances. On the other hand, there are certain items that are technically classified as hazardous (on the basis of how they need to be disposed of) which we can collect. For example, computer monitors and fridges or freezers. However, because these items have to be disposed of separately and the disposal costs are higher, we add a supplementary charge to your bill. If you are unsure about whether your rubbish or junk is or is not hazardous and whether we can collect it, please call us for clarification.

What do you do with the rubbish or junk?
The majority is recycled or reused - by being given to charities or taken to specialist recycling facilities. When this is not possible we take waste to licensed Waste Transfer Stations where it is sorted and disposed of in the least environmentally damaging manner possible.
